Description

The NIDEK Micro-Perimeter MP-3 is engineered for a detailed evaluation and rehabilitation of visual function. It features a wide range of stimulus intensity, from 0 to 34 dB, enabling measurement of perimetric threshold values even in normal eyes. With a maximum stimulus luminance of 10,000 asb, it effectively assesses low-sensitivity areas. The MP-3’s auto tracking and auto alignment functions ensure precise measurements, enhancing patient comfort and operational efficiency. These features facilitate consistent follow-up exams and reduce variations between different examiners. Additionally, the visual rehabilitation mode helps low-vision patients improve their functional vision by relocating their preferred retinal locus (PRL) to a trained retinal locus (TRL). The MP-3 also includes a fixation test, a high-resolution non-mydriatic fundus camera, a gray scale for sensitivity data representation, and an optional factory-installed scotopic microperimetry for low light condition assessment.
